Un vero peccato a cui bisogna presto porre rimedio<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4281c64 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4281c64\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><em>by Paolo Viola and Niccol\u00f2 Volpati<\/em><\/p><p><strong>Trinacria \u00e8 l\u2019antico nome greco della Sicilia. Nasce dall\u2019unione delle parole treis (tre) e akra (promontorio), riferite specificamente ai principali promontori dell\u2019isola<\/strong>: Capo Peloro a Nord-Est, Capo Passero a Sud-Est e Capo Boeo o Lilibeo (a Ovest). Punti strategici che, a loro volta, connotano le grandi coste siciliane: la tirrenica a Nord, la Jonica a Est e la Costa meridionale, che si affaccia sul Canale di Sicilia. Ci sono poi gli arcipelaghi delle Eolie (Alicudi, Filicudi, Salina, Lipari, Vulcano, Panarea, Stromboli), delle Egadi (Favignana, Levanzo, Marettimo) e delle Pelagie (Isola dei Conigli, Lampedusa, Lampione, Linosa). E ci sono anche le pi\u00f9 solitarie Ustica e Pantelleria. Un vero peccato, perch\u00e9 la Sicilia, come \u00e8 noto, \u00e8 un\u2019ambitissima meta turistica, spesso solcata da grandi e piccoli yacht che, tuttavia, faticano a trovare l\u2019approdo.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-17fccc8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"17fccc8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Fino a qualche tempo fa, sulla costa Nord, c\u2019era soltanto il Marina di Villa Igiea, vicino a Palermo, e negli ultimi anni, solo grazie ad alcune iniziative private, sono sorte le due nuove marine fronte Eolie, Portorosa e Capo d\u2019Orlando<\/strong>. A Sud \u00e8 ben organizzata la Marina di Ragusa, mentre a Est, fra Catania e Messina, l\u2019unico indirizzo pervenuto \u00e8 la Marina di Riposto, peraltro ancora in evoluzione. Inoltre, non dimentichiamo l\u2019uragano Harry: sull\u2019isola ha causato diversi danni. Cominciamo dalle cattive. A Marsala sarebbe dovuto sorgere un porto gi\u00e0 nel 2019, una realt\u00e0 con mille posti barca e ormeggi per yacht fino a 75 metri<\/strong>. Il progetto prevedeva il rifacimento di tutto il waterfront della citt\u00e0. Prometteva bene, anche perch\u00e9 poco distanti ci sono le strategiche Favignana, Marettimo, Levanzo, ovvero le Pelagie che attraggono molti turisti. Ma niente di fatto. Non da meno la costa trapanese. La concessione \u00e8 stata rilasciata al Marsala Yachting Resort nel 2016, ma quattro anni dopo \u00e8 stata ritirata. Il progetto quindi \u00e8 naufragato. <strong>Massimo Ombra<\/strong>, amministratore della societ\u00e0, ha dichiarato che stava attendendo un intervento pubblico per la realizzazione della diga foranea. Non c\u2019erano per\u00f2 i fondi.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6f7c385 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6f7c385\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Meno grave, ma pur sempre non certo motivo di vanto, \u00e8 la situazione di Termini Imerese: l\u2019Autorit\u00e0 di Sistema Portuale sta deviando qui il traffico container solitamente in carico al porto di Palermo, penalizzando cos\u00ec l\u2019antico e delizioso borgo che domina lo scalo dall\u2019alto<\/strong>. Parecchi anni fa, il Comune di Termini Imerese, allora titolare della gestione del suo porto, aveva approvato all\u2019unanimit\u00e0 un Piano Regolatore che prevedeva che lo scalo fosse dedicato al turismo, diportistico e crocieristico, e solo in parte al traffico commerciale.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-66cfc4e elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"66cfc4e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.barchemagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/shutterstock_2472698231.jpg\" data-elementor-open-lightbox=\"yes\" data-elementor-lightbox-title=\"Siracusa\" data-e-action-hash=\"#elementor-action%3Aaction%3Dlightbox%26settings%3DeyJpZCI6MjU1NjAxLCJ1cmwiOiJodHRwczpcL1wvd3d3LmJhcmNoZW1hZ2F6aW5lLmNvbVwvd3AtY29udGVudFwvdXBsb2Fkc1wvMjAyNlwvMDRcL3NodXR0ZXJzdG9ja18yNDcyNjk4MjMxLmpwZyJ9\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.barchemagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/shutterstock_2472698231-640x360.jpg\" class=\"attachment-image-16-9-small size-image-16-9-small wp-image-255601\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.barchemagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/shutterstock_2472698231-640x360.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.barchemagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/shutterstock_2472698231-889x500.jpg 889w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fb6eb11 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fb6eb11\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><em>I porti turistici in grado di accogliere yacht di 50 metri e oltre sono solo sei: Villa Igiea, Cala del Sole, Marina di Ragusa, Porto Xiphonio, Marina di Riposto e Capo d\u2019Orlando Marina.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-54ac93d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"54ac93d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Un altro ritardo nella crescita della portualit\u00e0 siciliana \u00e8 quello relativo alla preziosa area di Taormina<\/strong>. Era stato predisposto \u2013 e salvo errore, approvato \u2013 il progetto di un porto turistico sul promontorio che domina l\u2019abitato di Giardini Naxos, molto prossimo alla celebre localit\u00e0 turistica, che prevedeva anche, ahinoi, l\u2019accosto di una nave da crociera proprio di fronte alla grande spiaggia della cittadina. Dopo lunghi tentennamenti, derivati dal fallimento della societ\u00e0 che avrebbe dovuto realizzarlo, il progetto \u00e8 sprofondato nell\u2019oblio. Forse meglio cos\u00ec, se si considera il violento impatto che avrebbe avuto sulla straordinaria baia di Taormina. Dovrebbe mancare poco, al netto delle dichiarazioni troppo ottimistiche degli amministratori locali, al completamento del porto a Sant\u2019Agata di Militello<\/strong>. Sar\u00e0 una struttura in grado di accogliere pescherecci e barche da diporto e, una volta sistemata anche la viabilit\u00e0, dovrebbe entrare a pieno regime. Un altro esempio positivo che vale la pena citare \u00e8 quello di Base Nautica Trapani, gestita da <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/marinedi.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marinedi<\/a><\/span>, che invece \u00e8 gi\u00e0 in piena attivit\u00e0. Qui l\u2019intervento, pi\u00f9 che per gli ormeggi, \u00e8 stato pensato per offrire servizi e rimessaggio per yacht fino a 140 metri di lunghezza. Nessuno stravolgimento, nessuna cementificazione, ma, al contrario, il recupero di aree portuali poco utilizzate allo scopo di creare posti di lavoro per 12 mesi all\u2019anno.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-088dee9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"088dee9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Per tirare le fila, la situazione della portualit\u00e0 turistica in Sicilia non ha ancora sfruttato le sue potenzialit\u00e0<\/strong>. Si tratta di una vera diminutio perch\u00e9 oltre a una nautica \u201cresidenziale\u201d, fatta cio\u00e8 dai siciliani e dai tanti pescherecci anche di piccole dimensioni (che fortunatamente esiste) ci sarebbe anche quella in transito da intercettare. La posizione geografica al centro del Mediterraneo la favorisce.
