Le coste tirrenica e ionica della Calabria sono snodi fondamentali<\/strong>. Le navi, molte delle quali provenienti dalla Francia e dirette in Terra Santa, facevano scalo a Roccelletta, nel golfo di Squillace, prima di proseguire verso la Palestina. Del resto, non c\u2019era alcun blocco navale e non venivano prese d\u2019assalto prima di raggiungere la meta. Valeva anche la rotta inversa. Chi salpava da oriente si fermava a Crotone o a Sibari prima di fare rotta verso la Sicilia. In fondo, anche al giorno d\u2019oggi le rotte non sono molto cambiate. Sono tanti gli yacht che navigano in queste acque dirette a Malta, in Grecia o in Turchia, in particolare le navi da diporto, cio\u00e8 gli yacht di oltre 24 metri. Eppure, i porti, soprattutto per il transito, non esistono. Probabilmente i politici e gli amministratori dell\u2019antichit\u00e0 erano pi\u00f9 lungimiranti di quelli attuali.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div della Calabria<br \/>e della Basilicata, facendo rotta verso Malta, la Grecia e la Turchia, ma non ci sono porti dove attraccare.<\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-c647c47 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"c647c47\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Calabria e Basilicata confinano sia sul Tirreno sia sullo Ionio; per questo abbiamo deciso di trattarli insieme<\/strong>. Anche perch\u00e9 la costa della Basilicata misura in tutto 70 chilometri, che, in aggiunta ai 788 chilometri della costa calabrese, fanno pi\u00f9 di 850 chilometri, oltre il 10% della costa italiana. I marina sono davvero pochi e, di conseguenza, anche i posti barca. Non esiste un attracco per un yacht di oltre 55 metri. Basterebbe, per esempio, attrezzare a dovere il porto di Vibo Marina, appena un po\u2019 pi\u00f9 a nord, scarsamente utilizzato per il traffico commerciale e fortemente penalizzato per il diporto, oppure ampliare adeguatamente i marina di Palmi e di Scilla.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-3babeec elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" Tutto fa pensare che le due rive dello Stretto dovrebbero essere la capitale del diportismo internazionale: grandi porti con grandi barche che vengono a svernarvi, gli equipaggi che usufruiscono della presenza urbana di Reggio e Messina, gli armatori che utilizzano gli aeroporti di Catania, Reggio e anche Lamezia, prossimi al mare sulle due sponde, e che godono di luoghi magnifici come Taormina, l\u2019Etna e l\u2019Aspromonte. Pi\u00f9 adatte<br \/>al turismo stanziale che a quello in transito.<\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0dfaf1d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0dfaf1d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Sullo Ionio, un altro caso curioso \u00e8 quello dei due marina denominati Laghi di Sibari e Marina di Policoro, o Marinagri, organizzati come Port Grimaud in Provenza, o, molto pi\u00f9 semplicemente, come Punta Faro a Lignano Sabbiadoro, fra Venezia e Trieste<\/strong>. Questa tipologia di porto turistico, nata a Lignano Sabbiadoro nei primi Anni \u201970 e allora denominata \u201cTerra-mare\u201d, consiste in una serie di canali navigabili scavati a ridosso della linea di costa, sui quali si affacciano le residenze che, come pertinenza, dispongono di un posto barca privato. L\u2019intero complesso \u00e8 costituito da quattro penisole, ognuna delle quali comprende da 30 a 50 ville, e la darsena interna \u00e8 accessibile attraverso un canale. Il pescaggio nella darsena \u00e8 di due metri e mezzo e l\u2019ampiezza del canale \u00e8 di sei metri; quindi, la taglia massima d\u2019imbarcazione prevista non pu\u00f2 superare i 18\/20 metri di lunghezza. Oltre ai numerosi posti barca, il complesso prevede negozi, un albergo, un cantiere e alcune strutture sportive. Oggi gli imprenditori friulani sono quasi del tutto spariti e da tempo si cerca un faticoso rilancio. L\u2019auspicio \u00e8 che, come ai tempi della Magna Grecia, si comprenda quella che \u00e8, ancora oggi, la natura della costa calabrese e lucana, ovvero quella di intercettare le navi in transito e fornire i servizi di cui queste hanno bisogno.
