A tutto questo non si rinuncia, nemmeno se la barca viene utilizzata come day cruiser<\/strong><\/p><p><em>by Niccol\u00f2 Volpati<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bc41ebf elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bc41ebf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Palm Beach \u00e8 un marchio che si ispira alle vecchie lobster boat. A differenza di quelle barche, per\u00f2, l\u2019ultimo modello, il <em>GT60<\/em>, raggiunge la ragguardevole velocit\u00e0 di 36,6 nodi<\/strong>. In realt\u00e0, il merito di questa prestazione va attribuito a <strong>Mark Richards<\/strong>, Ceo del cantiere. Richards \u00e8 un progettista ed esperto velista che ha partecipato a moltissime regate e in Australia \u00e8 molto popolare. Da quando ha rilevato <strong>Grand Banks<\/strong> e <strong>Palm Beach<\/strong>, ha moltiplicato gli sforzi per ottenere buone prestazioni e bassi consumi. Il risultato lo ha ottenuto facendo convivere un design particolare della carena, materiali pi\u00f9 robusti e al contempo leggeri, e una tecnologia costruttiva all\u2019avanguardia, ma sempre molto curata nei dettagli. <em>GT60 <\/em>si avvale della tecnologia V-Warp a cui Richards crede senza esitazione, tanto da averla brevettata. Il processo di costruzione prevede l\u2019impiego di resine vinilestere, fibre di vetro e fibra di carbonio unidirezionale e multiassiale, e, ovviamente, si lavora sottovuoto per contenere la quantit\u00e0 di resina utilizzata e quindi ridurre al massimo i pesi. Il risultato \u00e8 una grande robustezza e affidabilit\u00e0 sotto la linea d\u2019acqua e una massima leggerezza nelle sovrastrutture grazie all\u2019abbondante impiego di carbonio.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-95fe096 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image-gallery\" data-id=\"95fe096\" Il comfort \u00e8 dato<br \/>dalle superfici a disposizione, ma anche dal piacere che si prova quando lo sguardo non ha ostacoli.<\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0de2350 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0de2350\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>La caratteristica di <em>GT60<\/em> \u00e8 essere un day cruiser o un weekender, senza rinunciare, oltre alle performance, al comfort e allo stile. La coperta \u00e8 uno spazio unico, non chiuso, ma protetto<\/strong>. La poppa \u00e8 aperta: non ci sono portelloni che dividono il pozzetto dalla piattaforma, n\u00e9 divisioni tra dinette e pozzetto. \u00c8 un unico grande spazio, molto vivibile e piacevole. La superficie a disposizione \u00e8 davvero ampia. La zona all\u2019aperto, composta appunto da pozzetto e piattaforma di poppa, non \u00e8 ingombra di arredi. L\u2019unico divanetto lineare che guarda verso poppa si trova a poppavia della dinette. Non c\u2019\u00e8 una zona pranzo, perch\u00e9 \u00e8 stata collocata a centro barca, cio\u00e8 nella zona protetta dall\u2019hardtop. Anche qui gli spazi non mancano e infatti la zona pranzo pu\u00f2 contare su due grandi tavoli fissi, uno di seguito all\u2019altro, sul lato di sinistra con intorno un ampio divanetto a U. A dritta, invece, si trova un altro lungo divanetto lineare. Il risultato \u00e8 un\u2019ampia zona pranzo e living. L\u2019unica postazione di guida garantisce sempre un\u2019ottima visibilit\u00e0. La barca \u00e8 ben equilibrata e parallela alla superficie dell\u2019acqua. In dislocamento, come in planata, dalla consolle si ha una vista perfetta. In sala macchine ci sono due Volvo D13 da 1.000 cv ciascuno, ma la particolarit\u00e0 \u00e8 che il cantiere ha deciso di rinunciare alle eliche: monta i jet drive di Hamilton. La sensazione al timone \u00e8 molto positiva. Non solo la barca accelera prontamente, ma la manovrabilit\u00e0 \u00e8 perfetta. \u00c8 facile da condurre e non si ha mai la sensazione di fatica nel mantenere il controllo. Alla massima sono arrivato a 36,6 nodi e per planare sono bastati poco pi\u00f9 di 14 nodi. Il risultato della tecnologia V-Warp \u00e8 certificata dai numeri. I consumi, infatti, sono contenuti per tutte le andature di crociera. In planata servono 107 litri\/ora, per un totale massimo di 390. L\u2019hardtop ha un portello scorrevole e anche le finestrature laterali al parabrezza sono scorrevoli<\/strong>. Tutti i comandi per alzarle e abbassarle sono elettrici. E considerando che in Malesia, durante il test, la temperatura era di 33 \u00b0C, direi che l\u2019aerazione \u00e8 pi\u00f9 che sufficiente. In navigazione non abbiamo avvertito la necessit\u00e0 di accendere l\u2019aria condizionata. Chi non gradisce i jet drive pu\u00f2 optare per una trasmissione Ips e questa, come \u00e8 nella tradizione del cantiere, non \u00e8 l\u2019unica personalizzazione possibile. Quello che colpisce \u00e8 la maneggevolezza e la facilit\u00e0 di conduzione anche con i jet drive.
