Ci sono solo 17 file e io sono capitato di fianco all\u2019elica, ben visibile ed esterna alla fusoliera. Nonostante questo, riesco ad addormentarmi<\/strong>. L\u2019aereo mi fa l\u2019effetto che fa l\u2019auto in movimento su un neonato. Al mio risveglio, stiamo scendendo. L\u2019aeroporto \u00e8 vicino. Del resto, il bosco \u00e8 fitto, a perdita d\u2019occhio. Sotto di me ci sono solo alberi. Non \u00e8 la prima volta che vengo da Nautor Swan, a 500 chilometri da Helsinki, ma faccio sempre fatica ad abituarmi a due stranezze: le poche persone in giro e il sole che non tramonta mai, nemmeno a mezzanotte. A queste se ne aggiunge un\u2019altra: <em>Swan 128<\/em>. Non \u00e8 strano perch\u00e9 ha qualcosa di eccentrico, ma perch\u00e9 \u00e8 molto grande. \u00c8 successo solo una volta che Swan abbia realizzato una barca pi\u00f9 lunga di questa. La filosofia \u00e8 sempre la stessa e anche questo maxi non si discosta: una barca confortevole, adatta a lunghe permanenze a bordo, ideale per navigare tanto e in tutti gli oceani del mondo. In due parole: performance sottovela e comfort a bordo. La coperta, curata da <strong>Lucio Micheletti<\/strong>, presenta un pozzetto diviso in tre aree. A ridosso della tuga, protetti dallo sprayhood a scomparsa, c\u2019\u00e8 la classica configurazione con due divanetti a C e relativi tavoli per gli ospiti. Verso poppa, lo spazio \u00e8 sgombro per consentire la personalizzazione preferita dall\u2019armatore.\u00a0La poppa, oltre a un garage che pu\u00f2 ospitare un tender di quattro metri e mezzo, si trasforma in una beach area molto ampia, da utilizzare durante le soste in rada. La zona centrale del pozzetto \u00e8 dedicata alle manovre. Il fiocco \u00e8 autovirante e, tra i captive winch e i winch elettrici, non \u00e8 difficile immaginare che non richieda un equipaggio numeroso per condurlo e manovrarlo. L\u2019unica cosa che non mi ha del tutto convinto \u00e8 che a poppavia delle due ruote del timone avrei voluto avere qualche centimetro in pi\u00f9 di superficie calpestabile. Lo spazio non manca, ovviamente, ma c\u2019\u00e8 un gradino che pu\u00f2 far perdere l\u2019equilibrio se ci si sposta inavvertitamente un po\u2019 indietro quando si timona. I timoni sono voluminosi anche perch\u00e9, se non fossero cos\u00ec, lo scafo sarebbe difficile da manovrare, anche all\u2019ormeggio. Timoni voluminosi, per\u00f2, possono essere sinonimi di attrito e quindi di fatica nel navigare. E invece <em>Swan 128<\/em> ha un sistema simile a quello di una bicicletta, che consente di avere un \u201ctimone pieno\u201d quando si deve manovrare in porto e un \u201ctimone ridotto\u201d, ideale in navigazione. \u00c8 tutto merito di due ingranaggi, due ruote dentate che fungono da demoltiplicatore quando serve. La sensazione \u00e8 la stessa di quella con il servosterzo di un\u2019auto. La conduzione \u00e8 davvero semplice, anche perch\u00e9 in navigazione le correzioni di rotta sono, tutto sommato, contenute. Non c\u2019\u00e8 quasi alcun trascinamento; lo si deduce dalla scia, praticamente inesistente<\/strong>. La carena \u00e8 perfettamente parallela alla superficie dell\u2019acqua e sfrutta appieno la lunghezza di galleggiamento. Inoltre, il sistema studiato appositamente per i timoni rende molto docile la conduzione. Sono a bordo di una barca da 40 metri con un dislocamento a secco di 123.000 chili, eppure ho la sensazione di essere su uno scafo grande la met\u00e0. \u00c8 molto maneggevole e reattiva. Le correzioni di rotta, anche le pi\u00f9 minime, non sono mai un problema. Il vento non \u00e8 particolarmente forte; si \u00e8 navigato sempre tra sei e otto nodi di reale, e con randa e fiocco siamo riusciti a stringere la bolina fino a 27\u00b0 di apparente. Gli interni sono frutto della collaborazione tra Frers, il cantiere e l\u2019architetto Misa Poggi. I volumi sono cos\u00ec ampi che il margine di personalizzazione \u00e8 notevole. In questo caso, l\u2019armatore ha scelto di dedicare la parte centrale al living e di spostare la zona pranzo verso prua. Tutta la prua \u00e8 dedicata alla cabina armatoriale e si trova ben distante dalla zona dell&#8217;equipaggio, collocata invece a poppa. Non si creda per\u00f2 che si tratti di una zona sacrificata, tutt\u2019altro. Sono ampie le cabine, l\u2019area living e, sempre a poppa, si trova la cucina.
