La fase di progettazione virtuale insieme a quella di prototipazione e di test in vasca (ETFT), diventa il luogo in cui la loro innovazione inizia a prendere forma, attraverso simulazioni in grado di sintetizzare linee, strutture e funzioni. La serie a vela <em>performance cruiser <\/em>in carbonio <em>Shipman<\/em> (2014) insieme alla serie a motore di navette semiplananti <em>Skagen<\/em> (2007) rappresentano i loro progetti \u201cinterni\u201d capaci di attingere alla tradizione motonautica fino a puntare all\u2019innovazione per la vela. Forti dell\u2019esperienza dello <em>Shipman<\/em>, decidono nel 2008 di produrre un concetto di barca capace di conquistare una nuova generazione di diportisti del fine settimana attraverso il comfort, la semplicit\u00e0, le prestazioni e il prezzo. Camaleontici e appassionati alla mobilit\u00e0 elettrificata e ai compositi avanzati, hanno collaborato di recente anche con <em>BMW<\/em> e <em>TYDE<\/em> per dare vita a <em>The Icon<\/em>. Se il modo migliore per raggiungere una nautica pi\u00f9 ecologica \u00e8 sfruttare l\u2019energia del sole, anche il lavoro che J&amp;J ha sviluppato recentemente insieme a <\/span><i>B\u00e9n\u00e9teau<\/i>, progettando l\u2019engineering dei modelli, degli stampi, dei testing e la validazione delle prime due barche <em style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Island Cruising Concept<\/em>, \u00e8 un importante conferma di una lunga serie di sforzi progettuali nel campo della nautica responsabile e sostenibile. Il \u201cmonomarano\u201d <em style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Island Cruising <\/em>\u00e8 una barca di vacanza a carena ibrida, quasi come un \u201cminotauro\u201d, con met\u00e0 monoscafo a prua e due scafi separati da un tunnel a poppa. 4 <em style=\"font-weight: 400;\">kW<\/em> di potenza, alimentati da pannelli solari sull\u2019hardtop, spingono la barca attraverso due pod <em>Fischer Panda<\/em> da 10 <em style=\"font-weight: 400;\">kW<\/em> ciascuno a una velocit\u00e0 massima di 8,5 nodi. Un gruppo elettrogeno garantisce comunque un\u2019autonomia di circa 300 miglia con un serbatoio pieno, anche senza utilizzare l\u2019energia solare. Il ponte di coperta di 30 metri quadrati offre spazi incredibili in soli 14 metri di lunghezza che possono essere ulteriormente ampliati con due piattaforme laterali apribili dal pozzetto e con solo 85 centimetri di pescaggio \u00e8 possibile avvicinarsi a riva quasi ovunque.
