Cassetta per parlare di progetti, ma soprattutto di funzione, sicurezza, estetica e qualit\u00e0 della vita a bordo<\/strong><\/p><p><em>by Olimpia De Casa<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-aefecb0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"aefecb0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Ricercare la bellezza \u00e8 un po\u2019 come ricercare la verit\u00e0, dove il concetto di verit\u00e0 non pu\u00f2 essere ridotto semplicemente a ci\u00f2 che \u201cappaga\u201d, e quindi conforta, e dove quello di bellezza dovrebbe andare oltre a<\/strong>l generico \u201cci\u00f2 che a me piace\u201d. Partiamo da qui per raccontare un dialogo interessante, oltre le attese. E questo perch\u00e9 l\u2019interlocutore ha avuto la capacit\u00e0 di argomentare il suo pensiero oltre il consolidato, ossia oltre le aspettative di chi solitamente \u00e8 abituato a \u201crisposte d\u2019ordinanza\u201d.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6c7cdc2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6c7cdc2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>L\u2019immagine che Giorgio Maria Cassetta, classe 1983, trasmette di s\u00e9 \u00e8 quanto di pi\u00f9 intenso e complesso, in senso pieno e ricco del termine, si possa visualizzare<\/strong>. A met\u00e0 strada tra lo \u201cscienziato pazzo\u201d e il cavaliere indomito che del gene dell\u2019irrequietezza ha saputo fare virt\u00f9, \u00e8 un creativo fuori dal comune. Sono un velista della domenica, amo le barche medio piccole, quelle in cui non ho bisogno dell\u2019equipaggio e sono pi\u00f9 a contatto con il mare, contesto in cui torno allo stato brado, alla vita \u2018selvatica\u2019 che ti svuota la mente e ti aiuta a tornare in contatto con la realt\u00e0\u201d. <br \/><br \/><\/i><\/span><span class=\"TESTOCORRENTEITALIANO\"><strong>Gli altri giorni della settimana li trascorre al lavoro, in giro per il mondo e nello studio che ha fondato a Roma nel 2015<\/strong>, due anni dopo essersi messo in proprio e dopo aver maturato una serie di esperienze importanti prima con lo studio <strong>Zuccon International Project<\/strong> e poi con quello di<strong> Andrea Vallicelli<\/strong>. Oggi timona un team, in crescita, di diciassette persone. Tra i trascorsi, dopo la laurea con lode in Industrial Design conseguita alla Sapienza, c\u2019\u00e8 anche quello accademico, avendo Cassetta intrapreso per qualche tempo l\u2019attivit\u00e0 di ricerca presso l\u2019<strong>Universit\u00e0 degli Studi Gabriele d\u2019Annunzio<\/strong> di Pescara. class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Cosa significa per lei innovare? <\/strong><em>Premesso che oggi il termine, un po\u2019 come <\/em>timeless <em>oppure olistico, \u00e8 forse tra i pi\u00f9 abusati e \u201cpericolosamente\u201d utilizzati, per me ha un significato ben preciso dal punto di vista biologico prima ancora che progettuale. Mi spiego: siamo macchine biologiche votate all\u2019autoconservazione e, quindi, anche al risparmio di energia. Il nostro cervello, abituato a utilizzare percorsi neurali gi\u00e0 acquisiti, \u00e8 portato ad agire attraverso meccanismi automatizzati che si basano, da quando nasciamo, sulla valorizzazione dell\u2019esperienza. L\u2019innovazione vera avviene quando si decide di non usare percorsi prestabiliti e si tenta di crearne di nuovi forzando la mente verso qualcosa che non \u00e8 biologicamente convenzionale. Si realizza quando si decide di uscire dai percorsi abituali e questo avviene sia a livello biologico sia all\u2019interno di un\u2019organizzazione, di un\u2019impresa, quando si rinuncia al paradigma assoluto dell\u2019efficienza: quella energetica, da un lato, e quella economica, dall\u2019altro. Sono un velista della domenica, amo le barche medio piccole, quelle in cui non ho bisogno dell\u2019equipaggio e sono pi\u00f9 a contatto con il mare\u00bb.<\/em><\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-4a01414c elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"4a01414c\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-6fca81d\" data-id=\"6fca81d\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5fcfbf6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5fcfbf6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Come concepire e poi tradurre in realt\u00e0 un prodotto di successo sotto gli aspetti di sicurezza e funzionalit\u00e0? <\/strong><em>In mare sono due componenti straordinariamente importanti, soprattutto considerando che l\u2019utente medio di uno yacht, mi riferisco all\u2019ospite ma per certi versi anche agli equipaggi, non \u00e8 un marinaio abituato a uscire con tre metri d\u2019onda, uno che dal mare deve guadagnare da vivere, ma che sale a bordo con la stessa ingenuit\u00e0 con cui entrerebbe in un albergo di lusso. Quindi, a maggior ragione, la barca deve favorire immediatamente un\u2019immagine che garantisca affidabilit\u00e0. Ci\u00f2 che trovo in assoluto fondamentale sono i percorsi di fuga e di movimento a bordo che, nell\u2019ottica di dover raggiungere i luoghi per esempio preposti all\u2019abbandono nave, devono essere pensati e curati attentamente. Pena l\u2019invalidazione degli stessi. Se decido di inserire una porta scorrevole elettrica su un passaggio di sicurezza fondamentale devo preventivare che, se la nave dovesse essere particolarmente inclinata, quella porta probabilmente non sar\u00e0 apribile. La funzionalit\u00e0 definisce la qualit\u00e0 della vita di bordo, che \u00e8 ci\u00f2 che distingue uno yacht da qualsiasi altro tipo di naviglio. La progettazione, anche quella stilistica, parte da \u201ccome funziona\u201d e questo vale per ogni ponte, ambiente, piano di lavoro, lavandino, serie di cassetti che sia. Per ogni singolo oggetto stabiliamo l\u2019ordine di priorit\u00e0 delle funzioni e da l\u00ec decidiamo come si realizza.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f51799d elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"f51799d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"505\" src=\"https:\/\/www.barchemagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/tirranna.jpg\" class=\"attachment-large size-large wp-image-221621\" alt=\"Giorgio M. Fu cos\u00ec realizzata una <\/i>Bugatti del mare <i>che, alla velocit\u00e0 di crociera di 70 miglia all\u2019ora, rimanesse rigida e assemblata al punto da non far percepire lo sbattere dei cavi elettrici all\u2019interno dei corrugati. Cito questo dettaglio per indicare quale fosse il livello di attenzione messo nella costruzione e nell\u2019allestimento. \u00c8 stata un\u2019esperienza fantastica, che ci ha visto sviluppare altri due modelli e che si \u00e8 conclusa quando il cantiere \u00e8 stato venduto\u00bb.<\/i><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-686b60b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"686b60b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Cosa vuol dire per il suo <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.giorgiocassetta.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">studio<\/a><\/span> fare un bel progetto? <\/strong><em>Al di l\u00e0 del romanticismo che si pu\u00f2 attribuire a questo concetto, quando ero adolescente mi piaceva molto <strong>John Keats <\/strong><\/em>(recita, rigorosamente in inglese, gli ultimi versi dell\u2019Ode su un\u2019urna greca: \u201cBellezza \u00e8 verit\u00e0, verit\u00e0 \u00e8 bellezza, questo \u00e8 tutto ci\u00f2 che sapete sulla Terra, ed \u00e8 tutto ci\u00f2 che vi occorre sapere\u201d, ndr)<em>, nella percezione dell\u2019essere umano non ne esiste, di fatto, una universale. Forse l\u2019unica, quella che tutte le civilizzazioni del mondo riconoscono come tale, \u00e8 la bellezza delle cose naturali, degli animali, dei paesaggi\u2026 Ragionare sul concetto di \u201cmi piace\u201d va nella direzione assolutamente opposta e rischiosa in quanto prodotto di un condizionamento culturale. Se il designer inizia a pensare a cosa piace ai propri clienti in quel momento, realizzer\u00e0 necessariamente un progetto che quando entrer\u00e0 nel mercato sar\u00e0 gi\u00e0 vecchio di almeno cinque anni. Sarebbe, oltretutto, topico, legato cio\u00e8 al luogo in cui \u00e8 nato e cresciuto l\u2019osservatore. Ognuno di noi \u00e8 infatti inconsciamente condizionato dal contesto in cui ha vissuto ed \u00e8 normale, ad esempio, che un certo tipo di architetture, decorazioni e immagini possano essere pi\u00f9 familiari e gradite di altre, lontane e distanti da noi. La sfida, per quanto riguarda l\u2019estetica, \u00e8 quella di creare oggetti, anche spingendoci verso forme non convenzionali, il cui bilanciamento di volumi, proporzioni, vuoti e pieni ed elementi decorativi sia il pi\u00f9 naturale e facile all\u2019occhio possibile. Questo, insieme all\u2019abitudine a ragionare avanti di almeno un lustro, \u00e8 in qualche modo garanzia della persistenza nel tempo del funzionamento dell\u2019estetica. Assistere a un varo \u00e8 per me sempre una sofferenza perch\u00e9 vedo qualcosa che nella mia testa \u00e8 nato almeno cinque anni prima.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-27fc210 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"27fc210\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><em>(Giorgio M.
