At the Miami International Boat Show 2026, on the occasion of its 80th anniversary, Simrad Marine Electronics launches the NSO 4 chartplotter. B&G, on the other hand, presents the new Zeus SRX chartplotter.
Available with 16-, 22-, and 24-inch displays, it features an 8-core Qualcomm processor that provides instant responsiveness, 35% faster start-up times, 10 times faster automatic autorouting, and 8 times more storage. The refined design features slightly curved edges and a glass-to-edge finish, creating a premium appearance that enhances any helm. Users will also have numerous customisation options, including a new swipe-to-reveal taskbar. They will benefit from an immediate sense of familiarity and simplified controls, making the Neon operating system interface more intuitive.

NSO 4 integrates seamlessly with Simrad’s full suite, including radar, sonar, and engine systems. Boaters can streamline their navigation with features like automatic autorouting, chart safety alerts, and AutoTrack Radar target tracking, all accessible from a single screen. Anglers can also establish a robust, all-in-one fishing centre that supports multiple sonar modules and Halo radar with Bird+ and FishCast modes, based on ROFFS forecasts.
Additionally, NSO 4 works with C-MAP Discover X and Reveal X charts, providing sharp, vibrant visuals and smooth performance. X-Chart Manager enables direct chart updates over the internet and allows custom area selection to explore new spots or navigate unfamiliar regions. Users can update existing charts or download and purchase additional ones for new areas. Furthermore, NSO 4 supports multiple charts simultaneously, including third-party options like CMOR Mapping, StrikeLines, and Standard Mapping, ensuring an optimal navigation experience.

The frameless glass display of this chartplotter sets a new benchmark in premium electronics. Navigation is further enhanced with C-MAP X-Gen charts, which offer greater detail and functionality. Sailors can explore Discover X charts for instant zoom, comprehensive local detail, and a dedicated night mode, or upgrade to Reveal X charts to access features such as shaded relief and detailed satellite imagery.
X-Gen charts also introduce features such as C-MAP Safety Alerts, which automatically warn sailors of imminent hazards, from shallow waters to buoys. Integrated X-Chart Manager then allows direct updates and upgrades from Zeus SRX, including downloading custom areas for almost immediate access to information.
